Addressing Bullying Behavior Through

the

Art of Puppetry

Today we face many challenges in our schools because of bullying behavior.  Our schools are more violent than ever before.  According to the Washington Post, more than 1,150 guns were seized from students in schools during the 2023 school year.  Bullying behavior has increased and many still have the mindset to believe bullying is just part of growing up in normal childhood.  Research indicates someone who has experienced being bullied can have emotional scars that have been found to linger into adulthood. Research also shows that those who operate in bullying behavior are likely to get involved in criminal activities as adults.  We have seen the humiliation, the thoughts of thinking it’s my fault, the fear, and all the other challenges someone goes through from being bullied in school.  We see you, we hear you we stand with you, and we understand.  It is our passion and goal to give our heart, energy, share the knowledge, and talent in finding creative ways in increasing awareness to introduce research based concepts in reducing bullying behavior in our schools, and our community.  We hope you will be encouraged to partner with us in reducing this widespread epidemic, and help to change the climate in our schools and community to foster a positive, warm, caring, learning environment for all students everywhere.
